Annapurna Introductory
Overview

This is an ideal adventure for the first time Nepal traveller looking for an exciting introductory trekking experience. If time is an issue then this is also a great trek to consider.
Our adventure begins in Kathmandu where you’ll enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley and two nights luxury accommodation at the Radisson (or equivalent standard) Hotel.
From here we drive in our private bus to Pokhara, enjoying a relaxing day with incredible mountain and village views along the way. After a night in Pokhara you’ll wake to splendid mountain views across Phewa Lake and after breakfast we’ll drive to the Annapurna Conservation Area border at Phedi. Here we’ll commence our trek staying overnight in Dhampus.
Over the next few days we’ll slowly ascend through lush rhododendron and oak forests. We’ll pass through the many Gurung villages in this region and be warmly welcomed by the locals. Spending nights along the way at Landruck, Chomrong and Tadapani, you’ll enjoy spectacular & uninterrupted views of the incredible Annapurna range.
Travelling further east we’ll spend a night at Ghorepani and then start early the next morning for unsurpassed views of this mountain sanctuary from the top of Poon Hill. That night we’ll stay at Tirkhedhunga and the following day we’ll finish our trek at Naya Pul A short drive will have us back in Pokhara and enjoying a great night out with our guides. The next day we’ll enjoy a scenic mountain flight back to Kathmandu with our trip concluding the following morning.
Our itinerary includes plenty of rest days allowing for safe altitude acclimatisation. This is an ideal introductory trek and is designed to especially suit people seeking a less strenuous trekking adventure. Still packed with incredible views, excitement and all the Nepalese culture you can possibly handle, you’ll be treated to the highest standard of trekking amenities in the world with an exceptionally experienced team of guides and porters.
