Overview

A remote Himalayan trekking and climbing adventure to Parchamo and beyond.

Located directly on the border of the stunning Rolwaling and Khumbu regions of Nepal, Parchamo rises high above the Tesi Lapcha at 6187 meters.

Our adventure begins in Kathmandu where you’ll enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley and two nights luxury accommodation at The Radisson (or equivalent standard) Hotel.  Our far less travelled route to this majestic mountain begins with a private bus charter from Kathmandu to Singati.  From Singati we commence our trek into the Rolwaling Himal, and before long are passing through some of the wildest mountain scenery imaginable.

The scenic rewards of this seldom travelled trail are quite incredible, with rare close-up views of Gauri Shanker (7145m) and Menlungste (7181m) along with stunning panoramas east to Everest and the peaks of the Khumbu. The villages are completely unspoiled, the forests pristine, and the people encountered spontaneous and hospitable. A remote and wild land in contrast with the tourist routes of the Khumbu. This trip is our signature “off the beaten track” and “away from everyone” adventure, culminating in our climb of Parchamo from the famous Tesi Lapcha Pass (5730m).

The Tesi Lapcha is the traditional Sherpa pass connecting the Solu Khumbu to the Rolwaling, and it’s saddle is home to the usual location for Parchamo High Camp. From High Camp we’ll start early in the morning and summit Parchamo, then trek down to Ngole at 5100 meters. From here we’ll trek to Thame and then Namche Bazar where we’ll celebrate our adventure with some of the finest food & hospitality available in the Khumbu, courtesy of the Namche Bazar Hotel. We’ll enjoy a well-earned free day in Namche Bazar with the opportunity to visit the famous Everest View Hotel. Stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam a fine reward before descending down valley to Lukla.  From Lukla we’ll fly back to Kathmandu for a final 2 nights of rest and relaxation at The Radisson Hotel.
