Community work

In Nepal

Help Nepal Network of Australia (HeNN)
Nick’s passion for Nepal has seen him become an honorary ambassador of the Help Nepal Network of Australia (HeNN) and as a result, Trek Climb Ski is now heavily involved in fundraising along with project and committee work for this worthwhile cause.

The Help Nepal Network is a globally operated charity run on a voluntary basis by people committed to improving the lives and conditions of Nepalese communities desperately in need. HeNN works to raise much needed funds that are distributed to health, education and emergency relief projects in remote Nepalese villages.

With Karbon Australia
Trek Climb Ski in conjunction with Karbon Australia has established the 'Clothing the Khumbu' initiative which involves the delivery and distribution of protective winter clothing to the Sherpa people of the Mt.Everest region. This clothing is kindly donated by Karbon Australia who recognise the Sherpa people of Nepal frequently work in harsh & extreme weather conditions, often with limited access to protective clothing. Our project to deliver clothing to this remote area is a positive step forward in improving the health and working conditions of these people.

Make-A-Wish Foundation
‘Giving Back’ is a crucial part of the Trek Climb Ski charter and our climbing pursuits to date have seen us assist in raising over $150,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Brunswick Employment Agency (BEA)
Locally we are fortunate to be involved in a voluntary capacity with the Brunswick Employment Agency (BEA) in Victoria. BEA specialises in providing employment and training opportunities for people with physical and mental disabilities. We have been actively involved with BEA since 2005 and enjoys contributing to a wide range of activities within this organisation.
